what is outline
Outline is a setting-agnostic rules-lite TTRPG built for low-prep sessions and solo play.
The system contains a fairly streamlined set of core rules that keep things moving fast, while being easily hackable. The rules manual has a few optional modules near the end that allow for some extra depth.
Read online on the official website. Any future changes will be hosted there first.

Very interesting ruleset, but may I ask a question?…
Apparently, you can spend Grit to improve a Teammate’s Roll (page 9), but as far as I can tell, I didn’t see any description of the Teammate’s Roll or “help” procedure.
Could you please elaborate on that?
Maybe I should have worded it a bit more clearly, but it’s the same as in Blades in the Dark. You can spend 1 Grit to add +1d6 to a teammate’s dice pool.
thank you for the clarification!
Really elegant design, both game wise and visually!
Thank you! :)
